CBS Atlanta Ga in Town
Christine Van Blokland has come to Beaufort NC to film a travel feature. She is the Better Destinations Travel, Lifestyle and Entertainment host for CBS Atlanta. You can watch some of the episodes here. Maybe she will return to town to run in one of our many runner’s events!
Christine and her videographer Wil Kazary, pictured below on Town Docks, were finishing up filming one part of the segment. I understand he enjoyed the mac-n-cheese at Backstreet Pub. They commented on how nice everyone in town has been to them. Thanks for visiting town, guys!

Minke Whale Baby Ashore
A Minke Whale washed ashore just north of Presidential point, just south of the #4 Can Buoy near the entrance to Cape Lookout Bight. The Whale reportedly is going to be euthanized.
